Welcome to Denison High School

Located in the northwest area of Denison, Denison High School is home to our 9th through 12th grade classes.

At Denison ISD, education is based on research-driven instruction by award-winning teachers in exciting environments that encourage imagination, creativity, exploration and discovery... in classrooms where attitudes are positive, encouragement is abundant and expectations are high. Denison High School is a state-of-the-art high school campus set on 175 scenic acres with ample room for growth, progress and the future success of all Denison children. DHS has been named to the AP School Honor Roll by College Board. Schools whose AP Program is delivering results and broadening access receive this prestigious award.

Attendance Please notify the school if your child will not be in attendance. A note should be sent when your child returns to explain the absence. A partial day is an absence.
